About Carolyn

~

Carolyn fell in love with the Boston area as an undergraduate student at Wellesley College, a connection that only strengthened during graduate studies at The New England Conservatory.  After receiving her master’s degree in Vocal Performance, Carolyn performed with various ensembles in Boston, including The Cantata Singers, Boston A Cappella and recital series at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum and French Library.  As Carolyn established herself as a soprano soloist in the Boston area, she also pursued her passion for teaching and opened her voice studio in 1995.

A natural teacher, Carolyn has developed an approach that provides her students with tools that allow them to achieve their full potential. Carolyn understands that becoming a singer or musician of any kind takes consistent practice and study.   She equips her students with sound fundamentals and proper technique, which form the foundation her students build upon to achieve their goals.  Study with Carolyn ensures clients of all levels will improve their singing whether recreationally or professionally.

Currently, Carolyn lives in Needham, MA, with her family.   When she isn’t singing or teaching, Carolyn loves cooking for friends and family, nurturing her vegetable garden, doing yoga and walking her two mini goldendoodles.
